Paper submission and review procedures
Papers submitted to ConTEL must not have been published, submitted, or accepted for publication elsewhere. IEEE policy regarding plagiarism and multiple submission/publication will be strictly enforced.
For more detailed guidelines and policies, see IEEE intellectual property rights.
Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Program Committee.
Paper publication policy
For an accepted paper to be included in the conference program and the ConTEL 2011 Conference Proceedings, at least one of the authors is required to register and present the work at the conference. The ConTEL proceedings will be published in hardcopy and electronically in IEEE Xplore®, and submitted for indexing in INSPEC. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., remove it from IEEE Xplore®) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register before the Author/Early Registration deadline at the Member or Non-member rate. One author registration is valid for one (1) paper.
Authors of multiple papers: Each additional paper by the same author has to be registered under Additional paper category. One author can register up to 2 additional papers.
Please refer to the Registration page for complete information.
Journal publications
Authors of the best accepted papers will be invited to submit an extended version for possible journal publication after the conference.
Best student paper award
There will be a Best student paper award. Rules for competing will be published once the acceptance/rejection letters are mailed out.
Cost of participation
Expenses associated with the conference participation, including but not limited to the registration fee, travel and accommodation, are the responsibility of the author. The conference organizers are unable to provide funding or assistance in that matter.
