***Final*** paper format
Accepted papers in final form must be received no later than
April 4, 2003. Preferred file format for final
version is Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF).
Papers should adhere to the standard IEEE double-column format
for conferences. The first page of the paper, centered on the
top below the top margin, should include the paper title, the
authors' names and their affiliations, an abstract, and keywords.
Use the sample
paper as a visual aid for formatting. Templates are
available below:

The most important elements of the paper layout
are:
1) Margin requirements: these must be strictly followed. Papers
cannot be accepted until proper margins are used.

2) Papers should NOT have
- Page numbers
- Headers
- Footers
3) Page limit: :
- 8 pages for regular papers
- 4 pages for short papers
- overlength papers will not be accepted
- illustrations and references are included in the page count
Preferred file format for final version is Adobe's Portable
Document Format (PDF).
Postscript files may be converted to PDF by using Ghostview/Ghostcript.
MS Word users can convert their papers to PDF by using http://createpdf.adobe.com.
This is a free service that can convert MS Word to PDF.
Final paper upload
Final papers must be submitted via Web upload.
PLEASE NOTE: Once the PDF file is uploaded it is considered FINAL.
Although the system will allow you to replace the revised version,
the revised paper is NOT intended to be uploaded more than once.The
Editors periodically check revised files on the system and then
move them to another location, so the version on the system at
that time will appear in the Proceedings.
Once the PDF file is uploaded it is considered FINAL.
PLEASE NOTE that
the final file CAN NOT be viewed directly from EDAS Web
page. Should you try to do so, you will receive a message
"File name nnn-final.pdf does not agree with
paper number nnn".
This is NOT a bug.

AUTHORS CHECKLIST
In order to complete the submission process, you will need to
go through the following steps:
- Revise your paper based on reviewers' comments.
- Prepare a camera-ready paper according to layout guidelines.
- Submit your camera-ready paper through EDAS by final paper
submission deadline.
- Fax your copyright transfer agreement

- Register
for the conference by early registration deadline.
Please make all the required corrections before submitting the
final version. The final version will be reviewed by one person
in order to assure that the required changes have indeed been
included and that the paper conforms to the final submission guidelines.
Also please have in mind that, once a paper is accepted, at least
one of the authors is required to register for the Conference
by May 9, 2003. Otherwise, the paper will not be included
in the Conference Proceedings. One registration per paper
is required. At most two presentations per registration/person
will be accepted. Registration will not be considered valid until
payment is received.
