This page presents the general conference information and procedures.
1. Paper Format
Instructions on the format of ConTEL papers and the corresponding LaTeX and MS Word templates can be found under Paper Format.
2. Paper submission and review procedures
Papers submitted to ConTEL must not have been published, submitted, or accepted for publication elsewhere. IEEE Communications Society Policy On Plagiarism and Multiple Submission will be strictly enforced. For more detailed guidelines and policies, see IEEE Intellectual Property Rights.
Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Program Committee. Papers will be evaluated by at least three independent reviewers.
Authors will achieve notification of acceptance or rejection via e-mail. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to submit final camera-ready papers for inclusion in conference proceedings.
3. Paper submission system (EDAS)
We use EDAS Conference Management System for the overall paper submission and review process. Please use your existing EDAS account if you have one.
Papers must be submitted online.
4. Paper publication policy
Submission of a paper implies the authors acknowledge the requirement of registration and attendance by at least one author at the conference. For an accepted paper to be included in the conference program and the conference proceedings, at least one of the authors is required to register by early/author registration deadline and attend the conference to present the work.
5. Conference proceedings
Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
6. Author registration
At least one author of each accepted paper must register before the author/early registration deadline at the Member or Non-member rate. Detailed information on registration fees and procedures will be published in due time.
7. Cost of participation
Expenses associated with the conference participation, including but not limited to the registration fee, travel and accommodation costs, are the responsibility of the author. The conference organizers are unable to provide funding or assistance in that matter.
