Due to numerous requests the paper submission deadline has been extended.
The new deadline is March 24, 2017.
Paper submission is open
The conference committee is soliciting contributed technical papers, referring to the topics of interest listed in the Call for Papers. For more information regarding paper submission and review, please refer to Information for Authors. Electronic paper submission (EDAS) opens on January 10, 2017. The deadline for paper submission is March 13, 2017.
Special sessions
There are currently two accepted special sessions: 1) Special Session on Enhanced Living Environments (ELEMENT-2017), organized in cooperation with COST Action IC1303 Algorithms, Architectures and Platforms for Enhanced Living Environments (AAPELE), with Ciprian Dobre, Univ. Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, as the special session chair; and 2) Special Session on Urban Mobility – Communication Technologies and Safety for Autonomous Vehicles, organized by Vilmos Simon, Levente Buttyan, and Laszlo Bokor, from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary. All papers submitted to the special session will go through the main conference peer-review process.
Special sessions may be proposed according to the instructions in Call for Papers.
Keynote speakers
The ConTEL 2017 conference committee is proud to announce our keynote speakers, Sinisa Krajnovic , Vice President and Head of Development Unit (Engineering) for Network Products, Ericsson, Sweden, and, Wolfgang Kellerer, Head and Chair of the Institute of Communication Networks in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technical University of Munich, Germany.

The updated Call for Papers is now available. You may also download the printer-friendly (PDF) version. The deadline for paper submission is March 15, 2017.
The ConTEL 2017 aims to reflect on current and emerging networking technologies that enable ubiquitous Internet and communications as key drivers of connected information society. With new services and increasing demand, there is a growing need for improvement in networking infrastructure – not just in terms of quality and performance, but also in scalability, mobility, energy efficiency, and multiple technologies integration. Original research papers are solicited that present theoretical, as well as applied, practical and experimental work related to the areas and topics of interest. We are pleased to announce that ConTEL 2017 is now technically co-sponsored by the IEEE. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
