ConTEL 2011 is over!
The 11th International Conference on Telecommunications, ConTEL 2011, was held in Graz, Austria, from June 15–17, 2011.
The organizing team of ConTEL 2011 thanks the members of the TPC, authors, reviewers, attendees and students for making this event a success.

The winner of the Best Student Paper Award
The winner of the Best Student Paper Award is Irena Jurdana, for the paper "Impact of Physical Layer Configuration on Availability of Path Protected Optical Fibre Transmission Network", coauthored by Irena Jurdana and Branko Mikac. Congratulations!
Final program
The final conference program is now published. The program is also available as a Google Calendar.
We kindly request the presenters to follow these guidelines for preparing their slides and talks.
The list of social events is now available. On Friday afternoon there will be a bus sightseeing tour in the vicinity of Graz, ending with a visit to a "Buschenschank" (traditional wine tavern) in the evening! If you plan to attend, please make your travel plans so as to leave on Saturday. The hotels listed under accommodation will continue to provide the conference rate to the participants by Sunday.
Best student paper competition
The ConTEL 2011 Technical Program Committee (TPC) is pleased to announce the Best Student Paper contest. See the competition rules and guidelines. The deadline for nominations is June 13, 2011.

COST Action IC0802 Workshop - Wednesday June 17, 2011
The 2nd International workshop of the COST ICT Action IC0802 "Propagation Tools and Data for Integrated Telecommunication, Navigation and Earth Observation Systems", co-located with ConTEL 2011, will be a full-day event on Wednesday, June 15. The Workshop program is included in the ConTEL registration. For workshop-only registration, information will be distributed through the COST action mailing list.
