Best Student Paper Award
The Best Student Paper Award was given to author(s) of the paper selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Program Committee.
The Program Committee is pleased to announce the winners:
- Best Student Paper Award: Sawsan Al Zahr, for the paper „Gain Equalization versus Electrical Regeneration Tradeoffs in Hybrid WDM Networks“, authored by Sawsan Al Zahr, Nicolas Puech and Maurice Gagnaire;
- Best Student Presentation Award: Sherif Ramzy, for the presentation of the paper „Optimization of 802.11b/g Networks for High Mobility and Dynamic Data Applications“, authored by Sherif Ramzy, Mina Milad, Rami Morgan, Karim Henain, Ramez Daoud and H. H. Amer;
- Best Undergraduate Student Paper Award: Goran Dumic, for the paper „An agent-based optimization of service fulfillment in next-generation telecommunication systems", authored by Goran Dumic, Vedran Podobnik, Gordan Jezic, Krunoslav Trzec and Ana Petric.
